SENIOR MANAGER – HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION (25583-W) – Kuching

Qualification :

  • Candidate must possess at least Advanced Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Minimum experience in similar senior post or field of at least 15 years
  • Candidate must exhibit strong ability to lead the department and resolve Human Resource or administrative problems timely and independently
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written)
  • Reliable with a strong sense of integrity

Job Summary :

  • To lead the organization’s HR department including talent acquisition, learning, and development, employee engagement and retention, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR information systems, financial planning and succession planning.
  • To develop and implement HR initiatives in line with organizational objectives and to liaise directly with the senior management and will be accountable for the staff through maintenance of employee database in making sure information is fit for purpose, and he or she will be providing strategic counsel on all staff matters.
  • To lead the administration function overseeing all facilities and administrative duties and administrative staff, as well as budget control of purchases and services supplied to the organization.
  • To leverage skills and knowledge alongside other administrative staff to ensure continuity of administrative support across the organization.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead organization’s HR department including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement and retention, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR information systems, financial planning, and succession planning
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives in line with organizational objectives by way of developing company wellbeing, health and benefits policies
  • Liaising directly with the senior management and being accountable for the people, as well as providing strategic counsel on all people matters
  • Contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and c-suite talent acquisition
  • Taking oversight of the company’s culture, team building, and inter-department cooperation
  • Leading the analysis of employee feedback and data, with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaged culture
  • Work with leadership team to conduct workforce planning for the site – identifying peak hiring periods and crewing levels required
  • Actively lead and/or facilitates change management processes to support plant transformation
  • Be actively involved and, as assigned, leads employee relations initiatives to improve employee engagement
  • Calculate and reports site-specific KPIs in monthly report-outs
  • The focal point for various tasks which include liaising with vendors for services required, maintenance of office equipment, replenishment of peripherals, stationaries and supplies, and other related issues.
  • Also includes supporting helpdesk with server issues on site
    Preparation of presentation materials, letters and other documents for communications, and active participation in the organization of events
  • Assisting Senior Management PA in the organizing of company board meetings, meals, and refreshments, venues etc. Responsible for personal travel and meeting arrangements for both domestic and international travel including invitation letters, passports and visa matters
  • Prepare/Review/Approve expense reports through internal expense reporting systems
  • Assist relevant departments in the arrangement of customs clearance and deliveries from abroad to the office & vice versa
  • Ensure continuity of administrative support across the organization
  • Any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested.
